Arts Award’s

10th Birthday Tea Party!

Are you interested in finding out more about the Arts Award’s suite of qualifications?

Is your centre already offering Arts Award? Want to share good practice and gain new ideas?

Does your arts organisation offer support for schools and young people with their Arts Award journey?

Arts Award has turned 10 this year and to celebrate, we are hosting an Arts Award 10th Birthday Tea Party at Woodlands Community College in Southampton. Woodlands Community College is one of 18 national Arts Award Good Practice Centres for 2015-16, and has been delivering the award since 2006.

Join us on Wednesday 2nd December from 3.30-4.30pm for the chance to share good practice; gain fresh ideas; find out more about the five levels of award; meet other Arts Award advisers and arts practitioners; speak with young people from a range of ages and backgrounds that have succeeded with Arts Award; and, of course, celebrate the 10 years of Arts Award with some birthday cake!

This sharing good practice and networking event is completely free and open to all interested primary and secondary teachers, Arts Award advisers and associated arts organisations and practitioners. To reserve your place, go to http://aa10teapartyatwoodlands.eventbrite.com.

For more information, contact rebecca.allen@woodlands.southampton.sch.uk or call 023 8046 3303 and ask to speak to Rebecca Allen.
