1st Olney Scout Group

1st Olney Scout Group embedded Arts Award into their weekly Scout programme, which includes outdoor pursuits, community involvement, creative expression and learning about the wider world. 19 Scouts achieved their Bronze Arts Award.

This Arts Award Centre has integrated Arts Award into their regular offer for young people, who are supported to gain their Arts Award at Bronze, Silver or Gold level.

Alex Evans - Independent practitioner

Alex Evans, an Arts Award adviser and freelance arts practitioner runs Arts Award with a number of centres. He ran both Bronze and Silver Arts Awards simultaneously with a small group over the course of 9 months.

Alison Deering - independent practitioner

Alison Deering, a former teacher, works as a freelance adviser with SEN schools and galleries. She has run Bronze Arts Award in a variety of SEN contexts.

Beverley Grammar School

Beverley Grammar School** ran Bronze Arts Award with Year 7 and 8 pupil premium students and Silver was offered as an enirchment activity for Sixth Form students.

Students at Clapton Girls' Academy took part in Shakespeare Schools Festival. They completed Bronze and Silver as part of the festival project.

Clayfields House Secure Children's Home

Clayfields House is a secure children's home. 19 young people achieved Bronze Arts Award after participating in a variety of arts activities. The young people also achieved a special under 18 Koestler Award. 

Cornerhouse

Cornerhouse is one of the UK’s leading centres for contemporary visual art, film and digital media. They have recently delivered Silver Arts Award.

Create Studios

Create Studios is an award winning digital media centre in the cultural hub of Swindon. They have recently delivered Bronze Arts Award using programming and animation to re-engage disengaged learners.

Creative Youth Adventure Club

Creative Youth Adventure Club  in Coventry offer all five Arts Award levels to home educated young people with participants from all over Warwickshire as well as distance learners from the UK and overseas. CYAC is a 2013-2014 Arts Award Good Practice Centre.

The Customs House Since 2009, Customs House has supported over 200 young people to achieve Arts Awards at Discover to Gold levels.

Harrow Arts Centre

Harrow Arts Centre is a multi-artform venue in North London. They have been delivering Arts Award for over three years and have had 214 Arts Awards moderated and more delivered within, and submitted by, schools through their outreach work. They offer Gold Arts Award through their Young Associate programme.

Ancient House, Museum of Thetford Life

Ancient House Museum of Thetford Life is a local museum housed in a late
15th Century timber framed building, exhibiting collections related to the
history of Thetford and the Brecks. In 2013 Ancient House Museum worked with children from two local schools on a diversity project which aimed to promote multi-cultural understanding. The children visited the museum for a Discover in a Day programme, exploring the story of the Duleep Singh Family.

Anthos Arts

Anthos Arts are an Applied Physical Theatre Collaborative based in Devon. They provided a youth theatre programme called Wings in the Way. The project’s aim was to allow young people to learn skills in physical theatre and also to discuss the meaning of community and the effect of digital social networks on community, as well as gain a Bronze Arts Award.

Bath Festivals

Bath Festivals is the charitable organisation responsible for the Bath
International Music Festival, the Independent Bath Literature Festival and the Telegraph Bath Children’s Literature Festival. Bath Festivals also runs Bath Box Office ticket agency. Bath Festivals have been delivering Arts Award Bronze over the last two years alongside their Young Curators Programme with schools.

Blessed Robert Johnson Catholic College

Blessed Robert Johnson Catholic College is an 11 -18 catholic secondary school based in Telford, Shropshire. They have been offering Arts Award for over three years and so far 140 students have achieved awards. The award is offered in music, dance, drama, visual arts, film, photography and technical production.

Castaway - Goole

Castaway – Goole Accessible Music Theatre is an arts charity working with
isolated young people and adults with learning and physical disabilities to
create and perform their own music, physical theatre, dance, film, digital and multimedia artworks. 

Castaway Shipmates youth theatre (8-18 year olds) created A Tale of Adventure project through which eight out of 20 young people worked towards and achieved their Bronze Arts Awards.

Dance United Yorkshire

Dance United Yorkshire is a Community Interest Company that works with
young people who are marginalised in society and whose potential is often
unrecognised or unfulfilled. Young people took part in an intensive Bronze Arts Award project, dancing for six hours a day, five days a week, and culminating in a sold-out performance.

Eastside Educational Trust

Eastside Educational Trust recently worked with 20 young people doing their Silver Arts Award as part of the BFI Film Academy, a filmmaking course delivered for 16-19 year olds.

English PEN
