Hi Laura,

Often other young people are the best advocates for Arts Award, so it might be worth looking at opportunities for inspiring your potential Silver/Gold students with stories from other young people who have worked at these levels.

Are there any current/past students who could come in and speak to them about their experiences? Or you could direct students to some of the case studies on Arts Award Voice for some inspiration.

You might also want to encourage any young people interested in working towards Silver and Gold to look into joining the Arts Award Youth Network, which provides opportunities for young people to take on different roles as Arts Award activists and Voice Reporters - these roles might appeal to them.

Do any other advisers have experience of recruiting students for Silver and Gold that they can share?

Best wishes,

Jodie, Arts Award Support Team.
