Delivering your project
Arts Award delivery to a whole year group
you're brave !!
i would try and keep the schedule tight..maybe do the "easier" parts first like the hero and the event then it gets them off to a positive start and they feel they have 50% done. or.........
whole year arts days are good...they could spend a day with some indian musicians /dancers learning dance moves and the music ( thats part one done )..review a performance from them ( thats part 2 ..REMEMBER TO SHARE IT maybe through their form registration ? ) then research/ interview the musicians for part 3 and finally share their dance moves to the family !! what fun... for part 4...ALL DONE !! phew !!!!
it does work..i have done this with about 50 .y9
Hi, I agree, you are brave. It's a pity that this work isn't always recognised by SLT. So. Have you started yet? I know this sounds obvious but try not to book the moderation until you are really confident that you have accurate numbers to pass, otherwise you will be wasting lots of dosh for the school.I've done 120 or so yr 9 for the past 3 years. It works and is a great boost for a lot of them. Not sure if you have time to plan a whole day by january and if it will guarantee the quality the board look for.I guess this depends on part A and the art form and your skills in this area. We set parts b abd C as homework............Gabby
