Harris City Academy Crystal Palace

Harris City Academy Crystal Palace offered Bronze Arts Award to students who excelled at Art and Design in Years 7-9 and were interested in exploring a range of arts disciplines further. The art and music departments worked closely together, with both subjects offering the Arts Award.

This case study includes some examples of the fantastically creative posters students made to document their Arts Inpisrations.

Harrow Arts Centre

Harrow Arts Centre is a multi-artform venue in North London. They have been delivering Arts Award for over three years and have had 214 Arts Awards moderated and more delivered within, and submitted by, schools through their outreach work. They offer Gold Arts Award through their Young Associate programme.

Hilltop School Arts Award case study

Hilltop School is a special school in Gateshead. So far it has delivered Bronze and Silver awards to over 200 pupils. Participating in the awards has not only enabled pupils to develop arts skills, but also their communication, confidence and social skills.

Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council

Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council are a local authority. Their cultural services team works closely with schools and the local community to support and develop arts provision and creative events. In partnership with local schools, they have developed an out of school Craft Club supported by Arts Council England and UK Hand Knitting Association. They are also delivering a year long programme to support children and young people from Supporting Leicestershire Families. Children on both programmes will work towards Arts Award Discover.
