I went to Stanburn Junior School this morning to present their certificates for the Junior Arts Award pilot which was very exciting!

In the past in my role at an arts centre we did a celebration event in the evening where we gave out certificates. I wanted to organise one this year but I just booked my moderation date too late unfortunately! For me in an arts organisation, the celebration events that everyone can come to are great, but the only problem can be deciding when to let people have their certificates - do you save them up to present them all at the end of the year or not? Doing it that way can mean some young people have to wait ages for their certificates, so I'm looking at maybe doing a different type of celebration that doesn't involve giving the certificates out, not sure if it will work though!
